GTA FPSO – Project Closure at Tenerife Shipyards

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the GTA FPSO project, which was completed on the 20th of  April. This achievement reflects the collaborative efforts of our team and our valued clients as we pursued our shared goals.

Project Highlights:

• Compressed Schedule: The project, initially targeted for 116 days, was completed in an impressive 82 days, demonstrating efficient execution.
• Fast-Track Mobilization: During the initial quayside preparation phase, we replaced 23,200 tons of bollards and designed, fabricated, and installed three 60+ ton fenders within a short timeframe.
• Fairlead Operations: Cluster removal, overhaul, and installation were completed efficiently, showcasing our ability to adapt to project demands.
• Extensive Scope: Over 500 personnel contributed to the safe delivery of pre-commissioning tasks, including flushing, IRATA rope access, tank cleaning, structural fabrication, piping, and painting.
• Safe Operations: We successfully completed hundreds of lifting maneuvers, including over 100 exceeding 20 tons, while maintaining a remarkable zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) record throughout the project, with over 200,000 man-hours worked 24/7.
